7. What is the renewal time for domains under .ee?
Domain names under .ee are registered for an indefinite period in all but the following cases:
The holder of 域名 no longer exists. Any domain whose legal holder no longer exists will be shut down.
If an applicant submits false data, the hostmaster may annul the registration of 域名. The holder of 域名 will be informed and given 14 days to respond before the registration is annulled.
Registration can be cancelled or annulled if it has been impossible to get in touch with the administrative contact person of 域名 holder for a period of several months. The holder of 域名 is responsible for the renewal of the contact data in the database managed by the Registry.
Registration can be annulled on the basis of a court ruling.
